Hello. I'm Erin, or Moony. I'm a quiet type; outwardly calm, mellow, and terminally indecisive. I'm currently in the midst of figuring out "what do I want to do with the rest of my life," as I'm out of college once and now back in again, and still don't have a clue what I really want to end up doing. I do want to get back to the Southwest; I've spent nine years in the cold and the rain and have discovered that I will never adapt-- I am permanently set on "desert dweller," and might as well admit it. I'm now a Zoology major in Illinois, and in the midst of trying to find a job. More personally, I'm terribly eccentric, Christian, addicted to tea, misanthropic, asexual, a fan of fantasy and sci-fi novels, mad about horses, fond of silver jewelry, messy, a Breyer collector, childfree, cynical, creative, disorganized, and an English major by birth as well as by diploma.
If you have (somehow) just wandered in: This journal is rarely friendslocked or filtered. If you want to friend me, you don't have to ask. I don't pay attention to these things, so I probably won't even notice. Don't be offended, therefore, if I don't friend you back. It doesn't even mean I'm not reading your journal-- I often bookmark rather than friend, because of the wide disparity in posting frequency among my friends.
Journal titles are from Robert Frost's poem "The Oven Bird."
